Master Lock ProSeries® Weather Tough® Padlocks are Master Lock’s most durable padlocks for extreme weather conditions. Weather Tough® padlocks are Laminated Steel Padlocks encased in an exclusive Master Lock® weather resistant cover. This exclusive cover protects the padlock body against corrosion and damage from most natural elements. To protect the inner components of the padlock, a rubber insert guard seals where the body meets the shackle, and a rubber cap located above the key way protects the locking mechanism from unsolicited water, ice, dirt, and grime. Although these padlocks are not “weather proof” they are weather resistant to the harshest weather conditions. The Master Lock Company LLC currently manufactures three different models of Weather Tough® padlocks, Master Lock No. 6121, Master Lock No. 6125, and Master Lock No. 6127, only varying in their body dimensions and shackle height.

Weather Tough® Colors

On February 24, 2015 Master Lock® introduced six new colors for the 6121 Proseries® Weather Tough® padlock. The colors that are available are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and White. Colors add an element of ease for coding departments, employees, and site locations. Color coding is much more efficient than the alternative of labeling locks by numbers or words. Colors stand out and are easily identifiable from close up or far away.

Master Lock ProSeries®

Master Lock ProSeries® was introduced in 1992 which included Weather Tough® padlocks. These padlocks are a part of a high security padlock line, which makes them ideal for industrial and commercial use.  ProSeries® padlocks feature hardened boron alloy shackles for superior cut resistance, dual ball bearing locking mechanisms that resist pulling and prying, 5-pin & 6-pin cylinders, spool pins, and rekeyable cylinders.

The Master Lock Company created the ProSeries® as the “Locksmith’s Padlock” by having standard components across the line including small format interchangeable core (SFIC) padlocks, making ProSeries® padlocks ideal for locksmiths to rekey. For multiple lock usage, ProSeries® Padlocks are easy to order Keyed Alike and Master Keyed with the correct key number.
